Wood Betony Seeds
Latin Name: Betonica officinalis
 
Wood Betony is a wonderful plant to support the nervous system. We like to use it often in our herbal tea's, and find it very helpful for tension headaches (especially stress related ones!).
 
As a member of the mint family, the aerial parts of the plant can be used to treat digestive complaints, from gas and bloating to stomach upsets.

Medicinal Actions: Nervine, gentle sedative, carminative, astrignent
Planting: Direct sow in the garden in Spring after last frost. Full sun to partial shade.
